Green means go right? Shanitra knows this to be true, but she is so programmed to stop at the light that is exactly what she did this morning leaving out of an errand. She stopped at the light and just sat there, deep in thought of all that she had to do through the day, that she just sat there at the light. Now if this was a busy neighborhood they might have blasted their horns and told her to get moving. Shanitra tells me that when she looked up and noticed she missed a green light she thought to herself ” I missed the light and I missed an opportunity”

Now let’s get this clear there are times when traffic is delayed, that many things happen and you later find out that God was strategically keeping you still to keep you from harms way. That is true!!! But Shanitra thought intently she missed it!!!

When She told me this story I thought there are many times in life where great opportunities come once and if we are not paying attention, if we become a sceptic about every person or every event then we miss it, if we procrastinate with making a decision we miss it. And sometimes, not like Shanitra the opportunity does not come back around.

Shanitra told me that after this she will continue to pray for Gods perfect will in her life because she does not want to miss a beat as far as His will in her life. I hope you feel the same. Keep Praying with perseverance that God will lead you with all understanding of the next step, so that you to do not miss the opportunity.

“Therefore be very careful how you live – not as unwise but as wise, 16 taking advantage of every opportunity, because the days are evil” (Eph 5:15-16).
